An etching of Friedrich Overbeck (1789-1869), who was a renowned German-Italian neoclassiscist painter. Signed Carl Küchler, Rome 1837. 

This print and many of his others can be found in numerous museums internationally, including the British Museum, who owns several of Carl Küchler's prints.

Carl Küchler (German, 1807-1843) Küchler grew up in Taubenheim, Germany, and later studied art in nearby Dresden. He moved to Rome in 1834 and remained there until his death in 1843.
