Vintique Stainless Bridge: American Standard Spec
This bridge will effectively convert to "vintage spec" any American Standard, Made in Japan or Made in Mexico model "Tele." Using the same high grade stainless steel employed in the Vintage Specification model, this bridge will transform your good guitar into a great one. Compensated brass saddles and all mounting hardware and instructions are included.
The new Vintique American Standard Bridge presents the current issue Fender American Standard Telecaster owner with the opportunity to go "Totally Vintage" with the only vintage-style direct replacement bridge of its type in the industry.
Until now, folks with American Standard Teles were unable to convert back to original specification by using an original design, 3-piece brass saddle bridge to regain that classic "Tele tone" that has become the instrument's trademark for over five decades.
A Fender design change, using the available six individual Strat-style bridge saddles (that string through the centers instead of over the back of the saddle like a vintage Tele), prompted a relocation of the string-through-body holes that also locate the string ferrules. The first person to try this conversion found out that the holes in the body do not align with the string holes in a vintage style bridge.
So, after many requests we are proud to provide another custom tailored specialty Tele bridge -- another Vintique innovation that allows today's musician a choice of performance level and function to suit their many varied and specific needs.
