Neck Kits
The concept behind our stainless neck plate kits is simple: improve mechanical connection -- make a super strong, super clean, and low maintenance unit.
Tighter connection = enhanced acoustic resonance, clarity and sustain.
We start with a heavier neck plate than other bolt-on neck guitar manufacturers. A quick inspection of your average neck plate reveals pulled areas around the screws, sometimes causing the area between holes to bow and not allow full contact between neck, neck plate and body. Our heavier .094" stainless resists warpage and distortion.
From the maintenance and repair aspect, being able to remove the neck repeatedly without the fear of having to repair the stock holes by drilling and dowelling repeatedly over the life of the instrument is a repairman's dream. As always, our parts are supplied with individually hand-polished stainless bolts.
Vintique neck kits fit all Fender-style guitars and basses. We sell neck kits, or just plates. We offer two countersink depths - one for stock wood screws and the other for our machine-threaded stainless bolts. Unless specified, the latter will be provided.
We also install our kits upon request, and they come stock on all Vintique Custom Guitars. G&L guitar replacement kits turn 3-bolt neck assemblies to 4-bolt. We also make kits for all PRS bolt-on guitars. Join the party!!
